- 1 Acorn squash cut in half
- 2 T Butter
- 4 Sage leaves
- 1 t Brown sugar
- 1 t Paprika
- Pinch of cayenne on each half
- 2 Pinches of salt on each half
- Pinch of pepper on each half
Place the acorn squash on a cookie sheet and sprinkle all seasonings evenly on both halves of the squash. Place the sage and butter in the center of each squash. Place in a 400 degree pre heated oven. Let cook for about 30 minutes or untill fork tender.
I will eat this just simply with a spoon or sometimes I puree it with my food processor and make a soup with it!!!
